4youth Productions is a non-profit organization that fosters the development of high-risk youth through educational programs. It is our main goal to inspire, educate and support our students. We use a hand on approach to combine science, photography and culinary art, exposing our students to career opportunities they otherwise may not have considered. By pointing out the coinciding elements between photography and science, we not only achieve great academic success but create amazing art.
Check out on Facebook to see students’ wonderful photography!
Where’s the money going: Money raised from this page will go towards 4youth Productions upcoming art exhibition. Our kids have done their part and taken wonderful photographs! Now, it is up to us to make this event a success and create a strong presentation, and we can do this with your help. Since 100% of the profits from the sale of artwork go towards our student college fund, it is very important that we have sellable art and are able to get our message across. Your donations will be directly used for the purchasing of frames, mats, printing of photography, brochures, posters, cards and decorations for the event.
This months Art Loop is April 4th at Union Park Honda showroom from 5-7:30pm.
The featured artist is Lisa Ashely with 20% of all sales being donated to the Wilmington Senior Center.
Lisa Ashley is a contemporary realist painter from Wilmington, Delaware. She received her BA and BFA from Boston College and her MFA from New York University. Lisa has lived, studied, and traveled extensively in Italy, Spain, Germany, and Japan. She has taught Art locally at the College level and most recently at The Tatnall School. She has exhibited locally and nationally and her work has been commissioned for private collections in England, Portugal, and Spain.
Her most recent work focuses on the Landscape and is inspired by her love for nature. She is particularly attracted to vast open spaces like the wilderness of Rangeley Lake in Maine where she explores light, color, water and sky through the sensual properties of paint. Her paintings search for the underlying abstract structure of painting while expressing the mystery of the natural world.
